House Sponsors: HASSERT-KOSEL-MCCARTHY-DAVIS,MONIQUE Short description: DHS-PROPERTY-TINLEY PARK Synopsis of Bill as introduced: Authorizes the Secretary of Human Services to convey certain tracts of land to the Village of Tinley Park and the United Cerebral Palsy Association of Greater Chicago for $1 each. Effective immediately. SENATE AMENDMENT NO. 1. Changes a conveyee from "the United Cerebral Palsy Association of Greater Chicago" to "the United Cerebral Palsy Association of Chicago, an Illinois not-for-profit corporation". HOUSE AMENDMENT NO. 1. With respect to the conveyance from the Department of Human Services to the Village of Tinley Park, provides that (i) the conveyance is conditional upon the execution of an intergovernmental agreement between the Department of Human Services and the village and (ii) if the property is ever not used by the village for public purposes, then title shall revert to the State of Illinois without further action on the part of the State. With respect to the conveyance from the Department of Human Services to the United Cerebral Palsy Association of Chicago, provides that if the property ceases to be used by the grantee for providing services or support for persons with disabilities, or if the grantee conveys any portion of the property to another party, then title shall revert to the State of Illinois without further action on the part of the State. Authorizes the Director of Corrections to convey certain property in Will County to the Lockport Township Park District.
