IDOT EVALUATE SAFETY VESTS                                                 

Synopsis of Bill as introduced:
        Urges the Department of Transportation to  evaluate  the  use  of      
   self-illuminating safety vests to ensure worker safety and to report        
   to the Transportation and Motor Vehicles Committee by May 31, 2000, on      
   the measures taken to assure highway worker safety.
