Excludes benefits during the first 6 months of coverage only for conditions for which treatment or medical advice was sought during the 6 months period immediately preceding the effective date of the coverage rather than conditions for which an ordinarily prudent person would have sought coverage during that time period. Effective immediately. SENATE AMENDMENT NO. 1. Adds reference to: 215 ILCS 105/2 from Ch. 73, par. 1302 215 ILCS 105/7 from Ch. 73, par. 1307 215 ILCS 105/11 from Ch. 73, par. 1311 Further amends the Comprehensive Health Insurance Plan Act. Includes within the minimum benefits under the Plan coverage for breast reconstruction in connection with mastectomies. Limits procedures for which oral surgery is covered. Provides that resident eligible persons under the CHIP Plan must reside in this State on a permanent and full-time basis.
