TRADEMARK-TRADENAME-INTERNET                                               

Synopsis of Bill as introduced:
        Amends the Trademark Registration  and  Protection  Act  and  the      
   Uniform   Deceptive   Trade   Practices   Act.   Under  the  Trademark      
   Registration and Protection Act, authorizes injunctive relief  against      
   a  person's  bad faith or disparaging use of a trademark, servicemark,      
   tradename, or professional name as an Internet domain  name,  Internet      
   address,  or  uniform  resource locator (U.R.L.) or other similar use.      
   Under the Uniform Deceptive  Trade  Practices  Act,  provides  that  a      
   person engages in a deceptive trade practice when he or she uses, in a      
   bad faith or disparaging fashion, as an Internet domain name, Internet      
   address,  or  U.R.L.  or  other similar use, a trademark, servicemark,      
   tradename,  or  professional  name  of  another   person.    Effective      
   immediately.
