Provides that the circuit clerk may appoint, either full-time or part-time, an Illinois licensed attorney at law to represent the office of the circuit clerk in the collection of a debt due and owing to the circuit clerk; collection of child support administrative fees; review of contracts regarding the circuit clerk's office; and collection of dishonored checks and unpaid fees. Effective immediately. SENATE AMENDMENT NO. 1. Deletes reference to: 705 ILCS 105/30 new Adds reference to: 705 ILCS 105/27.1 705 ILCS 105/27.1a 705 ILCS 105/27.2 705 ILCS 105/27.2a Deletes the title and everything after the enacting clause. Amends the Clerks of Courts Act. Provides that in child support and maintenance cases, the circuit clerk, if authorized by the county board, may deduct a fee of up to $36 from the person making payment for maintaining child support records and the processing of support orders to the State of Illinois KIDS system and the recording of pay- ments issued by the State Disbursement Unit for the official record of the court.
