TWP CD-GENL ASSISTANCE TX-TECH                                             

Synopsis of Bill as introduced:
        Amends the Township  Code.   Makes  a  stylistic  change  in  the      
   Section regarding the general assistance tax.                               
        HOUSE AMENDMENT NO. 1.                                                 
          Deletes reference to:                                                
          60 ILCS 1/235-20                                                     
          Adds reference to:                                                   
          60 ILCS 1/250-5                                                      
        Deletes everything.  Amends the Township Code.  Provides that the      
   township board may transfer  any  amount  from  the  township  general      
   assistance fund to the township general fund if the amount is used for      
   service programs for minors or senior citizens.
