INTEREST-HIGHER CREDITORS RATE                                             

Synopsis of Bill as introduced:
        Amends the Interest Act.  Increases, from 5% to 9%, the  rate  of      
   interest  to  which  creditors  are entitled on money after it becomes      
   due.                                                                        
        GOVERNOR'S AMENDATORY VETO MESSAGE                                     
        Recommends changing the rate of interest to which creditors are        
   entitled on money after it becomes due to 7%, instead of 9%.
