PEN CD-IMRF SLEP-WIDOW REMARRY                                             

Synopsis of Bill as introduced:
        Amends the Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund (IMRF)  Article  of      
   the Illinois Pension Code to allow the surviving spouse of a sheriff's      
   law enforcement employee to remarry before age 55 without loss of           
   survivor's  benefits.   Amends  the  State  Mandates  Act  to  require      
   implementation without reimbursement.  Effective immediately.               
          PENSION NOTE (Pension Laws Commission)                               
          Fiscal impact cannot be determined, but is estimated to be           
          minor.
