Short description: 
CNTY CD-MUN CD-BID BOND                                                    

Synopsis of Bill as introduced:
        Amends  the  Counties  Code  and  the  Illinois  Municipal  Code.      
   Provides that proposals or bids for the construction  of  improvements      
   shall be accompanied by cash, a certified check, or a bid bond (now by      
   cash  or  a certified check).  Provides that the bid bond shall be for      
   an amount not less than 2% of the aggregate of the proposal.                
        HOUSE AMENDMENT NO. 1.                                                 
        Further amends the Counties Code and the Illinois Municipal Code.      
   Provides that the bid bond shall not be less than 10% (instead of  2%)      
   of the aggregate of the proposal.
