Synopsis of Bill as introduced:
        Amends the State Universities Article of the Illinois Pension          
   Code. Allows retirement at any age with 32 years of service, beginning      
   in 1999, and with 30 years of service, beginning in 2000. Effective         
   immediately.                                                                
          PENSION NOTE (Pension Laws Commission)                               
          Increase in accrued liability                     $45.7 million      
          Increase in normal annual cost                    $ 1.7 million      
          Contribution required to amortize increase                minor
