GASH. 625 ILCS 5/6-206 from Ch. 95 1/2, par. 6-206 625 ILCS 5/11-501.9 new Amends the Illinois Vehicle Code. Provides that a person who drives or is in actual physical control of a motor vehicle upon the public highways of this State is deemed to have given consent to a standardized field sobriety test or a portable breathalyzer test, or both, if a law enforcement officer has reasonable suspicion of the driver's intoxication. Provides that the results of the test may be used by the defendant as evidence in an administrative or court proceeding involving DUI or implied consent.
