TURNER,ART. (HENDON) 65 ILCS 5/11-31-1 from Ch. 24, par. 11-31-1 Amends the Illinois Municipal Code. Provides that a municipality shall not proceed with demolition, repair, enclosure, or clean-up of a building if any person with a legal or equitable interest in the property has sought a court hearing. Provides that any person with a current legal or equitable interest in the property may file with the court an objection to a municipality's proposed action for the dangerous or abandoned building.
