MCCARTHY-BLACK-DART. 35 ILCS 5/203 from Ch. 120, par. 2-203 Amends the Illinois Income Tax Act. Grants a deduction for compensation paid to a resident by reason of being a member of any component on active duty in the Armed Forces (instead of compensation paid to a resident by reason of being on active duty in the Armed Forces). Grants a deduction for compensation paid to a resident by reason of being a member of the Illinois National Guard (instead of compensation paid to a resident for annual training performed as a member of the Illinois National Guard). Exempts these deductions from a requirement that deductions shall be limited by a reasonable and appropriate sunset date.
