1 SENATE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate wish to
3 express their sincere condolences to the family and friends
4 of Karen Marie Paulson of Belleville, Illinois, who recently
5 passed away; and
6 WHEREAS, Karen Paulson was born in Belleville, Illinois
7 on August 10, 1961; she was a graduate of Belleville Althoff
8 Catholic High School and Fontbonne College in St. Louis,
9 Missouri; and
10 WHEREAS, Mrs. Paulson was a member of Our Lady Queen of
11 Peace Church and the Women's Sodality; and
12 WHEREAS, The passing of Karen Paulson will be felt by all
13 who knew and loved her, especially her husband, Alvin C.
14 Paulson; her children, Daniel, Robert, and Jennifer; her
15 parents, Joseph M. and Maxine Poell; her sisters, Kathy
16 (husband, Steve) Odenwald and Kay (husband, John) Hoerner;
17 her brother, Joseph R. Poell; her in-laws, Robert and Astrid
18 Paulson; her brother-in-law, Robert (wife, Carla) Paulson;
19 her sister-in-law, Harriet (husband, John) Morrow; and her
20 nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends;
21 therefore, be it
22 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FIRST GENERAL
23 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
24 all who knew and loved her, the death of Karen Paulson; and
25 be it further
26 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
27 presented to the family of Karen Paulson.
