 1                          SENATE RESOLUTION

 2        WHEREAS, The members  of  the  Illinois  Senate  wish  to
 3    express  their  sincere condolences to the family and friends
 4    of Charles W. "Mohawk" Lencioni, who passed away on  December
 5    16, 2000; and

 6        WHEREAS,  Charles  W.  Lencioni was born July 16, 1927 in
 7    Geneva to Tony and Mary Lencioni; and

 8        WHEREAS, Charles W. Lencioni was  a  graduate  of  Geneva
 9    High  School,  where  he  starred  in  football and track; he
10    attended Northern Illinois University  in  DeKalb,  where  he
11    played  football  as  a  Huskie  until his admission into the
12    United States Army where he was stationed in Italy; and

13        WHEREAS, Charles W. Lencioni retired after  32  years  of
14    service  as  a  supervisor on the Illinois State Toll Highway
15    Authority; he was also owner/operator of Lencioni's Firehouse
16    No. 5, a popular restaurant/tavern  in  downtown  Geneva  for
17    many years; and

18        WHEREAS,  Charles  W.  Lencioni spent his winters in Port
19    St. Lucie, Florida and during the summer months,  he  resided
20    in  Rome,  Wisconsin where he enjoyed playing tennis and boci
21    and working in his yard; and

22        WHEREAS, The passing  of  Charles  W.  Lencioni  will  be
23    deeply  felt  by  all  who knew and loved him, especially his
24    wife of 46 years, Ethel Lencioni; his sons, Charles Lencioni,
25    Daniel (wife, Signe) Lencioni, Scott (wife, Susan)  Lencioni,
26    and  Christopher  (wife,  Trish)  Lencioni; his daughter, Amy
27    Lencioni  Jorgenson;  his  grandchildren,  Michael,  Charles,
28    Sarah, Danielle, Patrick, Erin, Anna, Rebecca,  Donna,  Dyan,
29    Kelli  and Christopher; his sisters, Deloris (husband, Scott)
30    Brundige and Margaret (husband, Frank)  Bishckie;  therefore,
31    be it

 1        RESOLVED,  BY  THE  SENATE  OF  THE  NINETY-FIRST GENERAL
 2    ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along  with
 3    all who knew him, the death of Charles W. Lencioni of Geneva,
 4    Illinois; and be it further

 5        RESOLVED,  That  a  suitable  copy  of this resolution be
 6    presented to the family of Charles W. Lencioni.
