1 SENATE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate wish to
3 express their sincere condolences to the family and friends
4 of Herman Albert Dickes, who recently passed away; and
5 WHEREAS, Herman Dickes was born in Aurora, Illinois, on
6 August 19, 1905; and
7 WHEREAS, Herman Dickes was a member of Holy Angels
8 Church; he was a life member of the Aurora Country Club, the
9 BPOE Lodge #1212, Knights of Columbus Council #736, and the
10 4th degree Marquette Assembly; and
11 WHEREAS, The passing of Herman Dickes will be deeply felt
12 by all who knew and loved him, especially his children,
13 William A. (Jo), Mary Ann (Thomas), Peter A. (Karen),
14 Patricia D. (Larry); his grandchildren, Jennifer (Thomas),
15 Joseph, Jeffrey (Barbara), Brian (Shelly), Bradley, Sandra,
16 and Jessica; his two great-grandchildren, Olivia and Jake;
17 and his brother-in-law, Dr. John M. (Pat) Abell; therefore,
18 be it
19 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FIRST GENERAL
20 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
21 all who knew him, the death of Herman Dickes of Aurora,
22 Illinois; and be it further
23 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
24 presented to the family of Herman Dickes.
