1 SENATE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate wish to
3 express their sincere condolences to the family and friends
4 of Frances K. Voris, who recently passed away; and
5 WHEREAS, Frances Voris was born in Wheaton, Illinois on
6 March 13, 1909; she was a life long member of New England
7 Congregational Church; and
8 WHEREAS, Frances Voris was the owner of The Knit Shop in
9 Aurora for many years; she was active in the Child Welfare
10 Society and Tuesday Garden Club; she was a graduate of the
11 University of Illinois and a member of the Gamma Phi Beta
12 sorority; and
13 WHEREAS, The passing of Frances K. Voris will be felt by
14 all that knew her, especially her sons, Frank K. (Charlotte)
15 Voris and Ralph D. (Linda) Voris; her daughter, Frances
16 (William) Myers; her grandchildren, Frank H. (Dana) Voris,
17 Jeffrey T. (Julie) Voris, Scott D. (Michelle) Voris, Kristin
18 (David) Poweleit, and Kathryn S. Voris; her step-grandchild,
19 Michael W. Myers; and her great-grandchildren, Samantha,
20 Frank, Jenna, Josie, Meagan, and Jane Voris; therefore, be it
21 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FIRST GENERAL
22 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
23 all that knew and loved her, the death of Frances K. Voris of
24 Aurora; and be it further
25 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
26 presented to the family of Frances K. Voris.
