91_SR0387 LRB9114682KBkb 1 SENATE RESOLUTION 2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate wish to send 3 their condolences to the family and friends of Ralph G. 4 Greenberg, who recently passed away; and 5 WHEREAS, Ralph G. Greenberg was born in Plainfield, 6 Illinois on August 17, 1923; he served in the United States 7 Marine Corps in the South Pacific during World War II; upon 8 his return he married Emmerence H. Jungles on May 4, 1946; 9 and 10 WHEREAS, Ralph G. Greenberg was employed by Kroehler 11 Manufacturing before taking the position as a special 12 agent/detective for the Burlington Northern Railroad; he 13 retired as a regional manager in 1984; and 14 WHEREAS, Ralph G. Greenberg was a member of Sts. Peter 15 and Paul Church, the VFW Judd-Kendall Post #3873, the Moose 16 Lodge, and the Knights of Columbus; and 17 WHEREAS, The passing of Ralph G. Greenberg will be felt 18 by all that knew and loved him, especially his wife, 19 Emmerence; his children, Jenna (Tom), Janet (Burt), Mary Lou 20 (Ray), Kenneth (Carol), Gary, Claudia, Connie (Don), and 21 Sandy (Gary); his fifteen grandchildren; his 22 great-grandchild; his brother, John; his sisters, Katie and 23 Marcy; and his many nieces and nephews; therefore, be it 24 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FIRST GENERAL 25 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with 26 his family and friends, the death of Ralph G. Greenberg; and 27 be it further 28 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 29 presented to the family of Ralph G. Greenberg.
