91_SR0360 LRB9114137KBkb 1 SENATE RESOLUTION 2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened 3 to learn of the death of Albert L. "Crash" Lesniak; and 4 WHEREAS, Mr. Lesniak was a union Local 434 carpenter for 5 45 years; he was an avid sportsman who enjoyed hunting, 6 fishing, and golf; and 7 WHEREAS, Mr. Lesniak enjoyed cooking and was considered a 8 master chef who could outdo his brothers, especially with 9 beet soup; he was a master poker and gin player; and 10 WHEREAS, Mr. Lesniak was a member of St. Bernadette 11 Parish; he was a member of the Oak Lawn Elks, the St. 12 Bernadette Golf League, Our Lady of Fatima, the Knights of 13 Columbus, and the "I Got Em" Gun Club, where he prepared wild 14 game dinners for 50 years; and 15 WHEREAS, Albert L. Lesniak is survived by his wife, 16 Donna; his children, James (Dawn) Lesniak, Linda Lesniak, 17 Theresa (Mark) Weber, Laura Lesniak, and Christine (Kregg) 18 Bush; his grandchildren, Greg, J.P., and Michelle Lesniak, 19 Frank and Brian Gory, and Lauren and Kirsten Weber; his 20 faithful dog, Little Lassie; his brothers, Jerry (Grace) 21 Lesniak, Edward (Peggy) Lesniak, and Stanley Lesniak; his 22 sisters, Regina (Guido) Gereb and Josephine (Paul) Murphy; 23 and many nieces and nephews; therefore, be it 24 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FIRST GENERAL 25 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with 26 all that knew and loved him, the death of Albert L. Lesniak; 27 and be it further 28 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 29 presented to the family of Albert L. Lesniak.
