91_SR0349 LRB9113796KBkb 1 SENATE RESOLUTION 2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate wish to 3 extend their sincere condolences to the family and friends of 4 Frank Chase of La Grange Park, who recently passed away; and 5 WHEREAS, Frank Chase was born in Tonopah, Nevada and 6 raised in California; he attended the University of Southern 7 California before moving to Illinois; and 8 WHEREAS, Frank Chase was an executive for the Greyhound 9 Corporation and the National Bus Company in Chicago before 10 his retirement; he served on the Community Park District of 11 the La Grange Park Board of Commissioners during the 1950s; 12 and 13 WHEREAS, Frank Chase was a volunteer at the Rich Port 14 YMCA and was active in various organizations in La Grange 15 Park; he resided the last fifteen years at the Plymouth Place 16 Retirement Center; and 17 WHEREAS, The passing of Frank Chase will be felt by all 18 who knew and loved him, especially his loving wife, Virginia; 19 his daughter, Shelly Chase Birkeland, his son, Thomas; his 20 eleven grandchildren; and his twenty-one great-grandchildren; 21 therefore, be it 22 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FIRST GENERAL 23 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we again express 24 sorrow upon learning of the passing of Frank Chase of La 25 Grange; and be it further 26 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 27 presented to his wife, Mrs. Virginia Chase.
