91_SR0333 LRB9113686KBkb 1 SENATE RESOLUTION 2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate wish to 3 express their sincere condolences to the family and friends 4 of Paul J. Reuland, who recently passed away; and 5 WHEREAS, Paul Reuland was born in Aurora, Illinois, on 6 January 14, 1923; his parents were Phillip and Anna Schaefer 7 Reuland; on June 21, 1944 he married Charleen L. Miller; and 8 WHEREAS, Paul Reuland was a veteran of World War II, 9 where he served in the United States Army; he was employed at 10 Thor Power Tool as a chief tool designer and later as 11 superintendent of the machine shop; he and his wife owned and 12 operated Reuland Food Service, with its origins in their 13 home, and eventually moving to 115 Oak Avenue, where they 14 have been for 30 years; and 15 WHEREAS, Paul Reuland was a member of the Jolly Boys 16 Club, the St. George Social Club, the Luxembourger Club, the 17 Phoenix Club, VFW Post #7452, and the American Legion Post 18 #84; and 19 WHEREAS, The passing of Paul Reuland will be deeply felt 20 by all who knew him, especially by his loving wife of 55 21 years, Charleen; his daughter, Rene Reuland Juneau, and her 22 special friend, Thomas Hopp; his sons, Jeffrey (Cynthia), 23 Paul (Marie), and Daniel (Mary); his grandchildren, Nathan 24 and Angela Juneau, Ryan (Jenny) Reuland, Matthew Reuland, 25 Brigit Reuland, Christine (Dan) Cook, Shannon Reuland, Amy 26 Reuland, Jennifer Reuland, Kurt Reuland, Sara Reuland, and 27 Andrea (Josh) LeClaire; his great-grandchildren, Sydney 28 Reuland and Madeline Humm; his sisters-in-law, Virginia 29 Reuland and Mae Reuland; his nieces, Colleen (Mark) Flarhity 30 and Christine (Mark) Dohan; and his nephew, Timothy 31 (Kathleen) Reuland; therefore, be it -2- LRB9113686KBkb 1 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FIRST GENERAL 2 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we extend our 3 sympathy to the family and friends of Paul J. Reuland, at 4 this time of loss; and be it further 5 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 6 presented to the family of Paul Reuland.
