1 SENATE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate wish to
3 extend their sincere sympathies to the family and friends of
4 Mary Belle Derderian Murphy of Mundelein and Oak Brook, who
5 recently passed away; and
6 WHEREAS, Mary Belle Derderian Murphy was born on August
7 15, 1947 at Great Lakes Naval Hospital; her parents were Sam
8 and Verna Derderian; and
9 WHEREAS, Mary Belle Derderian Murphy received her
10 Bachelor's degree in Home Economics from the University of
11 Iowa; she was married to the late W.A. Murphy of Northbrook;
12 and
13 WHEREAS, Mary Belle Derderian Murphy was employed by the
14 W.A. Murphy Employment Agency as Business Manager, where she
15 created many innovative procedures; her hobbies included
16 fencing and golfing; and
17 WHEREAS, Mary Belle Derderian Murphy is survived by her
18 mother, Verna Derderian; her brother, John Derderian and his
19 wife, Merrie; and her sister, Nancy Carpenter and her
20 husband, Ray; therefore, be it
21 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FIRST GENERAL
22 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
23 all that knew this fine woman, the death of Mary Belle
24 Derderian Murphy; and be it further
25 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
26 presented to the family of Mary Belle Derderian Murphy.
