1 SENATE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened
3 to learn of the death of Annunzio Covelli, of North Aurora,
4 Illinois, who recently passed away; and
5 WHEREAS, Annunzio Covelli was born on January 1, 1927 in
6 Marano Principato, Italy; and
7 WHEREAS, Annunzio Covelli was the owner and operator of
8 Covelli's A-1 Service Station in Aurora for 33 years,
9 retiring in 1987; he was a member of Blessed Sacrament Church
10 in North Aurora; he was also a member of the Italian American
11 Club and the North Aurora Lions Club; and
12 WHEREAS, Annunzio Covelli is survived by his wife,
13 Florence Covelli; his daughter, Marianne (Gordon) Murray; his
14 son Michael (Mary) Covelli; his five grandchildren, Christy
15 and Jeff Murray, and Lisa, Gina, and Angelina Covelli; his
16 brother, Armando Covelli; and his sister, Ida Bilotti; and
17 many nieces and nephews; therefore, be it
18 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FIRST GENERAL
19 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
20 all that knew him, the death of Annunzio Covelli, of North
21 Aurora, Illinois; and be it further
22 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
23 presented to the family of Annunzio Covelli.
