1 SENATE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened
3 to learn of the death of Wanda N. Meyer, of Aurora, Illinois,
4 who recently passed away; and
5 WHEREAS, Wanda N. Meyer was born on September 7, 1924;
6 her parents were John and Etta Hammond; on May 22, 1945 she
7 married Bud Meyer; and
8 WHEREAS, Wanda N. Meyer was a devoted member of St.
9 Paul's Lutheran Church; she loved to spend time with her
10 grandsons, who she cared for very deeply; and
11 WHEREAS, Wanda N. Meyer is survived by her husband, Bud
12 Meyers; her sons, Bill (Carol) Meyer, and Jack (Sonja)
13 Meyers; her grandsons, Michael, Christopher, Adam, Daniel,
14 Timothy, and Zachary Meyer; her brothers, Leroy Hammond, Vern
15 (Kay) Hammond, Donald (Lydia) Hammond, and Jack (Lois)
16 Hammond; her brother-in-law, Kurt Bachert; and several nieces
17 and nephews; therefore, be it
18 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FIRST GENERAL
19 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
20 all that knew her, the death of Wanda N. Meyer, of Aurora,
21 Illinois; and be it further
22 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
23 presented to the family of Wanda N. Meyer.
