91_SR0225 LRB9109457CBcb 1 SENATE RESOLUTION 2 WHEREAS, The members of the Senate were saddened to learn 3 of the death of Antonio Dion Rollins of Chicago on November 4 8, 1999; and 5 WHEREAS, He was born in Chicago on January 4, 1971, the 6 son of Azarine Rollins and Jerry Mayo, Sr.; and 7 WHEREAS, He was educated at Austin High School and 8 immediately joined the United States Marines; he served his 9 country until his discharge in 1993; he had a special love 10 for working with automobiles and electronics; and 11 WHEREAS, Antonio Rollins joined the Jesus Christ Holy 12 Missionary Baptist Church; he worked with the Brotherhood 13 Department and was a faithful member of the Choir; he sang 14 with the Jesus Christ Ensemble; and 15 WHEREAS, His passing will be deeply felt by his family 16 and friends, especially his wife, Thomasensa; his sons, 17 Randall Devon and Antonio Johnell; his daughter, Brittani 18 Rollins; his parents, Azarine and Jerry, Sr.; his brothers, 19 Jerry, Kenneth, and Jermaine; his sisters, Jameka and 20 Camellia; and his goddaughter, Keirra Matlock; therefore, be 21 it 22 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FIRST GENERAL 23 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we note with sorrow 24 and regret the death of Antonio Dion Rollins and extend our 25 sincere condolences to his family and friends; and be it 26 further 27 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 28 presented to his widow, Thomasensa Rollins.
