1 SENATE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Senate were saddened to learn
3 of the recent death of John M. Feinen of Villa Park, brother
4 of Senator Doris Karpiel; and
5 WHEREAS, He was a graduate of the Illinois Institute of
6 Technology and a retired design engineer for a manufacturing
7 company; and
8 WHEREAS, He was a member of the Illinois Certified
9 Professional Engineers, the American Society of Professional
10 Engineers, and the Berwyn Council of the Knights of Columbus;
11 and
12 WHEREAS, He was an avid outdoorsman, a talented writer,
13 and a gifted artist and was notably known for his unique
14 sense of humor; and
15 WHEREAS, A loving and devoted husband and father, his
16 passing will be deeply felt by his family and friends,
17 especially his wife, Charlotte; his sons, John and Charles;
18 his daughters-in-law, Laura and Deb; his grandchildren,
19 Aubrey, Jamie, and Samantha; and his sister, Senator Doris
20 Karpiel, and her children; therefore, be it
21 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FIRST GENERAL
22 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we note with sorrow
23 and regret the death of John M. Feinen and extend our sincere
24 condolences to his family and friends; and be it further
25 RESOLVED, That suitable copies of this resolution be
26 presented to the family of John M. Feinen.
