1 SENATE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The Solid Waste Tipping Fee Surcharge Task Force
3 was created by Senate Resolution 152 of the 91st General
4 Assembly to file a report concerning the loss of solid waste
5 tipping fee surcharges on local governments in Illinois and
6 ways to rectify that loss; and
7 WHEREAS, Senate Resolution 152 of the 91st General
8 Assembly required that the Solid Waste Tipping Fee Surcharge
9 Task Force file copies of its report with the Clerk of the
10 House and the Secretary of the Senate on or before December
11 31, 1999; and that upon filing its report the committee is
12 dissolved; and
13 WHEREAS, It has become necessary to extend the deadline
14 by which the Solid Waste Tipping Fee Surcharge Task Force
15 must report its findings; therefore, be it
16 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FIRST GENERAL
17 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that the date by which the
18 Solid Waste Tipping Fee Surcharge Task Force must file copies
19 of its report with the Clerk of the House and the Secretary
20 of the Senate be changed from December 31, 1999 to December
21 31, 2000.
