1 SENATE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened
3 to learn of the death of William Charles "Chuck" Evers, of
4 Collinsville, Illinois, who recently passed away; and
5 WHEREAS, Mr. Evers was born in Alton, Illinois, on June
6 13, 1945; he was an attorney at law in Collinsville for 20
7 years; he was a legal advisor to Republican candidates in
8 Madison County and the State of Illinois; and
9 WHEREAS, Mr. Evers was a member of the First United
10 Presbyterian Church in Collinsville and an active part of his
11 community; and
12 WHEREAS, William Evers and Lynda Vandewater were married
13 on December 22, 1973; and
14 WHEREAS, William Evers is survived by his wife, Lynda;
15 his daughter, Caren Evers; his son, W. Clark Evers; his
16 mother, Dorothy Mae Evers; he will be missed by many other
17 family members, colleagues, and friends; therefore, be it
18 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FIRST GENERAL
19 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
20 his family and friends, the death of William Charles "Chuck"
21 Evers of Collinsville, Illinois; may all that seek comfort at
22 this time of loss find what they need; and be it further
23 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
24 presented to the family of William Evers.
