1 SENATE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate wish to
3 express their sincere condolences to the family and friends
4 of Mr. David Lee Foster, who recently passed away; and
5 WHEREAS, David Foster was born in Gallatin, Tennessee on
6 October 13, 1959; his parents are George Foster, Sr., and
7 Mary Foster; in July of 1968 he and his family moved to East
8 St. Louis, Illinois; and
9 WHEREAS, David Foster attended Hawthorne Elementary
10 School as a youngster; he later attended and graduated from
11 Lincoln Senior High School; and
12 WHEREAS, David Foster was a member of St. John Missionary
13 Baptist Church under the leadership of Dr. Robert C. Jones;
14 and
15 WHEREAS, David Foster is survived by his parents, George
16 and Mary Foster; his brothers, James Foster (Mary Ann),
17 George Foster, Jr. (Melba), and Wallace Foster (Stephanie);
18 his sisters, Beverly Foster and Ivera Foster (Sam); his
19 grandfather, Brother Kirby; his friend, Bobby Jean Bartlett;
20 and many other relatives and friends that will miss him
21 greatly; therefore, be it
22 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FIRST GENERAL
23 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
24 his family and friends, the death of David Foster of East St.
25 Louis, Illinois; and be it further
26 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
27 presented to the family of David Foster.
