91_SR0166 LRB9107492KBkb 1 SENATE RESOLUTION 2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened 3 to learn of the death of Betty Andras of Aurora, Illinois, 4 who recently passed away; and 5 WHEREAS, Betty Andras was born in Reading, Pennsylvania 6 on September 1, 1924; she married Stephen J. Andras on August 7 14, 1948, and they celebrated their fiftieth anniversary in 8 1998; and 9 WHEREAS, Betty Andras was a member and active part of 10 Advent Christian Church in Aurora, Illinois; she sang in the 11 choir and was active in the Bible study; and 12 WHEREAS, She was considered the family "cheerleader", 13 supporting her family and her husband; Betty Andras always 14 sat in the same pew in church, where her children could 15 easily locate her when they needed her; and 16 WHEREAS, Betty Andras is survived by her children, Carol 17 L. Andras, Francine (Al) Eggleston, and Stephen K. Andras; 18 her sisters, Marian (Glen) Batdorf and Dorothy Bolton; her 19 brother, Charles Jones; and her three grandchildren, Traci, 20 Carrie, and Kyle Eggleston; therefore, be it 21 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FIRST GENERAL 22 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with 23 her family and friends, the death of Betty Andras; may all 24 that knew this delightful woman with the warm and welcoming 25 smile find comfort at this time of loss; and be it further 26 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 27 presented to the family of Betty Andras.
