91_SR0083 LRB9106467CBcb 1 SENATE RESOLUTION 2 WHEREAS, The members of the Senate were saddened to learn 3 of the death of Mrs. Frances E. Schmidt of Carlinville on 4 Sunday, April 4, 1999; and 5 WHEREAS, She was born in Litchfield on April 9, 1900, the 6 daughter of Robert and Anna Link Bellm; she married Anthony 7 Schmidt in 1922, he died in 1970; and 8 WHEREAS, Mrs. Schmidt was employed as a licensed 9 practical nurse for many years at Macoupin Hospital and at 10 her residence; she was also employed as a housekeeper for 11 Monsignor Casimir Toliusis since 1970; and 12 WHEREAS, She was a member of Sts. Mary and Joseph 13 Catholic Church and Altar Society; and 14 WHEREAS, Her passing will be deeply felt by her family 15 and friends, especially her sons, Robert, Rev. Anthony, Rev. 16 Carl, Larry, and Joseph; her daughters, Rosemary Pankratz and 17 Virginia Drew; 29 grandchildren; and 33 great-grandchildren; 18 therefore, be it 19 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FIRST GENERAL 20 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we note with sorrow 21 and regret the death of Mrs. Frances E. Schmidt and extend 22 our sincere condolences to her family and friends; and be it 23 further 24 RESOLVED, That suitable copies of this resolution be 25 presented to the family of Mrs. Frances E. Schmidt.
