1 AMENDMENT TO SENATE RESOLUTION 50
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend Senate Resolution 50 on page
3 1, by replacing lines 9 through 14 with the following:
4 "WHEREAS, The terms of 7 of the members of the Department
5 of Labor Advisory Board have expired; therefore, be it
6 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FIRST GENERAL
7 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we urge the Governor
8 to appoint members to fill the 7 expired positions on the
9 Department of Labor Advisory Board; and be it further
10 RESOLVED, That we urge the Governor to select members who
11 deal regularly with the Department of Labor or represent
12 entities that deal regularly with the Department of Labor;
13 and be it further
14 RESOLVED, That we urge the Department of Labor Advisory
15 Board to meet at least once every 3 months; and be it
16 further".
