1 SENATE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The Department of Labor Advisory Board has been
3 created by Section 6.02 of the Civil Administrative Code of
4 Illinois; and
5 WHEREAS, Section 6.02 of the Civil Administrative Code of
6 Illinois provides that the Advisory Board shall be composed
7 of 13 members, including 5 representatives of employees, 5
8 representatives of employers, and 3 public members; and
9 WHEREAS, The Department of Labor Advisory Board currently
10 has no appointed members; therefore, be it
11 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FIRST GENERAL
12 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we urge the Governor
13 to appoint members to fill all vacancies on the Department of
14 Labor Advisory Board; and be it further
15 RESOLVED, That copies of this resolution be delivered to
16 the Governor and to the Director of Labor.
