91_SR0006 LRB9101258CBcb 1 SENATE RESOLUTION 2 WHEREAS, The members of this Body were saddened to learn 3 of the death of Wilson McKinney of Chicago on January 11, 4 1999; and 5 WHEREAS, He was born in Mound Bayou, Mississippi, on June 6 12, 1938, one of 13 children born to Wesley and Nada 7 McKinney, Sr.; and 8 WHEREAS, He worked for the Schulze & Burch Biscuit 9 Company and Cook County Hospital for a total of 18 years; and 10 WHEREAS, His passing will be deeply felt by his family 11 and friends, especially his wife, Ethel; his son, Collon 12 Ramsey; his stepchildren, Marquetta Lewis and Charles 13 Edwards; his step-grandchildren, Angelique Lewis, Chariss 14 Edwards, Charissa Edwards, Sha-Reiko Edwards, and Adam Lewis; 15 his step-great-grandchild, Calab Lewis; his sister, Lue Emma 16 Crossley; his brothers, John Smith and Wesley McKinney, Jr.; 17 his sisters-in-law, Helen McKinney, Evelena McKinney, 18 Leesther McKinney, Inez Goodson, and Tessie Nelson; and his 19 brother-in-law, Devitt Lewis; therefore, be it 20 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FIRST GENERAL 21 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we note with sorrow 22 and regret the death of Wilson McKinney and extend our 23 sincere condolences to his family and friends; and be it 24 further 25 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 26 presented to his widow, Ethel McKinney.
