91_SJ0044 LRB9107777CBcb 1 SENATE JOINT RESOLUTION 2 WHEREAS, The members of the Senate were saddened to learn 3 of the death of Spc. Anthony William Gilman of Michael in 4 Kosovo on July 4, 1999; and 5 WHEREAS, He was a 1994 graduate of Calhoun High School; 6 he enlisted for four years in the Army in March of 1997 and 7 completed basic training at Fort Leonardwood, Missouri; and 8 WHEREAS, He was stationed at Fort Lewis, Washington, and 9 later was deployed to Germany and sent to Kosovo; and 10 WHEREAS, Prior to entering the service, he was employed 11 at Super Value in St. Louis, Missouri; and 12 WHEREAS, He will always be remembered as Tony Gilman, the 13 country boy; and 14 WHEREAS, His passing will be deeply felt by his family 15 and friends, especially his mother and father, Mary and Fred 16 Gilman, and his younger brother, Charles; therefore, be it 17 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FIRST GENERAL 18 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, THE HOUSE OF 19 REPRESENTATIVES CONCURRING HEREIN, that we note with sorrow 20 and regret the death of Spc. Anthony William Gilman and 21 extend our sincere condolences to his family and friends; and 22 be it further 23 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 24 presented to the family of Spc. Anthony William Gilman.
