1 AMENDMENT TO SENATE JOINT RESOLUTION 41
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend Senate Joint Resolution 41 on
3 page 1, line 3, by replacing "October 1" with "September 30";
4 and
5 on page 1, by replacing lines 6 through 13 with the
6 following:
7 "of the School Code; and
8 WHEREAS, The charter school financing mechanism specified
9 in subsection (f) of Section 27A-9 of the School Code
10 constitutes a directive to the State Board of Education
11 rather than a mandate on any school district; therefore, be
12 it
13 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FIRST GENERAL
14 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, THE HOUSE OF
15 REPRESENTATIVES CONCURRING HEREIN, that the request made by
16 Schaumburg CCSD 54 - Cook with respect to substitute
17 certificates, identified in the report filed by the State
18 Board of Education as request WM199-1227, is disapproved; and
19 be it further
20 RESOLVED, That the request made by Palatine THSD 211 -
21 Cook with respect to substitute certificates, identified in
22 the report filed by the State Board of Education as request

1 WM199-1256-2, is disapproved; and be it further
2 RESOLVED, That the request made by Rock Island-Milan SD
3 41 - Rock Island with respect to substitute certificates,
4 identified in the report filed by the State Board of
5 Education as request WM199-1281-2, is disapproved; and be it
6 further
7 RESOLVED, That the request made by Collinsville CUSD 10 -
8 Madison with respect to the compilation of average daily
9 attendance, identified in the report filed by the State Board
10 of Education as request WM199-1260, is disapproved; and be it
11 further
12 RESOLVED, That the request made by Fremont SD 79 - Lake
13 with respect to charter schools, identified in the report
14 filed by the State Board of Education as request WM199-1216
15 (A), is disapproved; and be it further
16 RESOLVED, That the request made by Woodland CCSD 50 -
17 Lake with respect to charter schools, identified in the
18 report filed by the State Board of Education as request
19 WM199-1223 (A), is disapproved; and be it further
20 RESOLVED, That no waiver or modifications of the
21 provisions of subsection (f) of Section 27A-9 of the School
22 Code shall be available to school districts pursuant to
23 Section 2-3.25g of the School Code, and that any application
24 for such a waiver or modification shall be ineligible for
25 consideration.".
