1 AN ACT making appropriations.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 ARTICLE 1
5 Section 1. The following named amounts, or so much
6 thereof as may be necessary, respectively, for the objects
7 and purposes hereinafter named, are appropriated from the
8 General Revenue Fund to meet the ordinary and contingent
9 expenses of the Prairie State 2000 Authority:
10 For Personal Services ........................ $ 293,000
11 For Employee Retirement Contributions
12 Paid by Employer............................. 11,700
13 For State Contributions to State
14 Employees' Retirement System................. 29,900
15 For State Contributions to
16 Social Security ............................. 22,400
17 For Contractual Services ..................... 198,100
18 For Travel ................................... 16,700
19 For Commodities .............................. 3,000
20 For Printing ................................. 5,500
21 For Equipment ................................ 2,000
22 For Electronic Data Processing ............... 9,100
23 For Telecommunications Services .............. 16,500
24 For Operation of Auto Equipment .............. 1,100
25 Total $609,000
26 Section 2. The amount of $1,256,200, or so much thereof
27 as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue
28 Fund to the Prairie State 2000 Authority for tuition and
29 educational fee vouchers on behalf of individuals.

1 Section 3. The amount of $2,317,500, new appropriation,
2 is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Prairie
3 State 2000 Authority for training grants and loans to
4 eligible employers.
5 Section 3a. The amount of $1,197,600, or so much thereof
6 as may be necessary and remains unexpended at the close of
7 business on June 30, 1999, from the reappropriation made in
8 Public Act 91-23, Article 15, Section 3, approved June 9,
9 1999, is reappropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the
10 Prairie State 2000 Authority from training grants and loans
11 to eligible employers entered into during the 2000 fiscal
12 year.
13 Section 3b. The amount of $100,000, or so much thereof
14 as may be necessary and remains unexpended at the close of
15 business on June 30, 2000, from the appropriation heretofore
16 made in Public Act 91-23, Article 15, Section 3b, approved
17 June 9, 1999, is reappropriated from the General Revenue Fund
18 to the Prairie State 2000 Authority for training grants and
19 loans to eligible employers entered into during the 1999
20 fiscal year.
21 Section 3c. The amount of $600,000, or so much thereof
22 as may be necessary and remains unexpended at the close of
23 business on June 30, 1999, from the reappropriation made in
24 Public Act 91-23, Article 15, Section 3c, approved June 9,
25 1999, is reappropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the
26 Prairie State 2000 Authority from training grants and loans
27 to eligible employers entered into prior to the 1999 fiscal
28 year.
29 Section 999. Effective date. This Act takes effect on
30 July 1, 2000.
