91_SB1742 LRB9111907NTksA 1 AN ACT making appropriations and reappropriations. 2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, 3 represented in the General Assembly: 4 Section 5. The sum of $36,636,100, or so much thereof as 5 may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue 6 Fund to the Board of Trustees of Northeastern Illinois 7 University to meet the ordinary and contingent expenses of 8 the University, including payment or reimbursement to the 9 University for personal services and related costs incurred 10 during the fiscal year authorized by law, for the fiscal year 11 ending June 30, 2001. 12 Section 10. The sum of $5,974,000, or so much thereof as 13 may be necessary, is appropriated from the Education 14 Assistance Fund to the Board of Trustees of Northeastern 15 Illinois University to meet the ordinary and contingent 16 expenses of the University, including payment or 17 reimbursement to the University for personal services and 18 related costs incurred during the fiscal year authorized by 19 law, for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2001. 20 Section 15. The sum of $71,626, or so much thereof as 21 may be necessary and remains unexpended at the close of 22 business on June 30, 2000, from an appropriation heretofore 23 made for such purpose in Article 2, Section 125 of Public Act 24 90-10, is reappropriated from the Capital Development Fund to 25 the Board of Trustees of Northeastern Illinois University for 26 technology infrastructure improvements at Northeastern 27 Illinois University. No contract shall be entered into or 28 obligation incurred for any expenditures from the 29 appropriation made in this Section until after the purposes 30 and amounts have been approved in writing by the Governor. -2- LRB9111907NTksA 1 Section 20. The sum of $50,843, or so much thereof as 2 may be necessary and remains unexpended at the close of 3 business on June 30, 2000, from an appropriation heretofore 4 made for such purpose in Article 2, Section 175 of Public Act 5 90-10, is reappropriated from the Capital Development Fund to 6 the Board of Trustees of Northeastern Illinois University for 7 technology infrastructure improvements at Northeastern 8 Illinois University. No contract shall be entered into or 9 obligation incurred for any expenditures from the 10 appropriation made in this Section until after the purposes 11 and amounts have been approved in writing by the Governor. 12 Section 25. The sum of $1,878,426, or so much thereof as 13 may be necessary and remains unexpended at the close of 14 business on June 30, 2000, from appropriations and 15 reappropriations heretofore made for such purposes in Article 16 91, Section 24 of Public Act 90-585, is reappropriated from 17 the Capital Development Fund to the Board of Trustees of 18 Northeastern Illinois University for purchasing equipment for 19 the Fine Arts Complex. 20 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect on 21 July 1, 2000.
