1 AN ACT making appropriations.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The sum of $44,419,700, or so much thereof as
5 may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue
6 Fund to the Board of Trustees of Eastern Illinois University
7 to meet the ordinary and contingent expenses of the
8 University, including payment or reimbursement to the
9 University for personal services and related costs, incurred
10 during the fiscal year ending June 30, 2001, and for salaries
11 accrued but unpaid to academic personnel for personal
12 services rendered during the fiscal year 2000 academic year.
13 Section 10. The sum of $6,489,000, or so much thereof as
14 may be necessary, is appropriated from the Education
15 Assistance Fund to the Board of Trustees of Eastern Illinois
16 University to meet the ordinary and contingent expenses of
17 the University, including payment or reimbursement to the
18 University for personal services and related costs, incurred
19 during the fiscal year ending June 30, 2001, and for salaries
20 accrued but unpaid to academic personnel for personal
21 services rendered during the fiscal year 2000 academic year.
22 Section 15. The sum of $814,444, or so much thereof as
23 may be necessary and remains unexpended at the close of
24 business on June 30, 2000, from an appropriation heretofore
25 made for such purpose in Article 3, Section 20 of Public Act
26 91-0008, is reappropriated from the Capital Development Fund
27 to Eastern Illinois University for digitalization
28 infrastructure for WEIU-TV.
29 Section 20. The sum of $8,850, or so much thereof as may

1 be necessary, is appropriated from the State College and
2 University Trust Fund to the Board of Trustees of Eastern
3 Illinois University for scholarship grant awards, in
4 accordance with Public Act 91-083.
5 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July
6 1, 2000.
