1 AN ACT to amend the School Code by changing Section
2 2-3.27.
3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
4 represented in the General Assembly:
5 Section 5. The School Code is amended by changing
6 Section 2-3.27 as follows:
7 (105 ILCS 5/2-3.27) (from Ch. 122, par. 2-3.27)
8 Sec. 2-3.27. Budgets and accounting practices forms and
9 procedures; rules. To formulate and approve forms, procedure
10 and regulations for school district accounts and budgets
11 required by this Act reflecting the gross amount of income
12 and expenses, receipts and disbursements and extending a net
13 surplus or deficit on operating items, to advise and assist
14 the officers of any district in respect to budgets and
15 accounting practices and in the formulation and use of such
16 books, records and accounts or other forms as may be required
17 to comply with the provisions of this Act; to publish and
18 keep current pamphlets or manuals in looseleaf form relating
19 to budgetary and accounting procedure or similar topics; to
20 make all rules and regulations as may be necessary to carry
21 into effect the provisions of this Act relating to budgetary
22 procedure and accounting, such rules and regulations to
23 include but not to be limited to the establishment of a
24 decimal classification of accounts; to confer with various
25 district, county and State officials or take such other
26 action as may be reasonably required to carry out the
27 provisions of this Act relating to budgets and accounting.
