1 AN ACT to amend the Public Funds Investment Act by
2 changing Section 5.
3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
4 represented in the General Assembly:
5 Section 5. The Public Funds Investment Act is amended by
6 changing Section 5 as follows:
7 (30 ILCS 235/5) (from Ch. 85, par. 905)
8 Sec. 5. Construction of Act. This Act, without
9 reference to any other statute, shall be deemed full and
10 complete authority for the investment of public funds, as
11 hereinabove provided, and shall be construed as an additional
12 and alternative method therefor.
