1 AN ACT to amend the State Vehicle Identification Act by
2 changing Section 2.
3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
4 represented in the General Assembly:
5 Section 5. The State Vehicle Identification Act is
6 amended by changing Section 2 as follows:
7 (30 ILCS 610/2) (from Ch. 127, par. 133e2)
8 Sec. 2. All vehicles not exempt from identification by
9 Section 4 of this Act shall be identified by a special
10 registration plate and shall clearly state on each side of
11 the vehicle, "Property of the State of Illinois".
