 1        AN ACT to amend the Specialized Care for Children Act  by
 2    changing Section 2.

 3        Be  it  enacted  by  the People of the State of Illinois,
 4    represented in the General Assembly:

 5        Section 5.  The Specialized  Care  for  Children  Act  is
 6    amended by changing Section 2 as follows:

 7        (110 ILCS 345/2) (from Ch. 144, par. 67.2)
 8        Sec.  2.  An  Advisory  Board  for  Specialized  Care for
 9    Children,  composed  of  seven  physicians  or  surgeons,  is
10    created to advise the  University  of  Illinois  relative  to
11    qualifying  for  federal  funds  and  aid  in relation to the
12    administration  of  the  Division  of  Specialized  Care  for
13    Children, to make recommendations to the University regarding
14    the operation of services to crippled children  with  special
15    health  care  needs,  and  to  consult regarding professional
16    general  policy  considerations  dealing  with  services   to
17    crippled  children  with  special  health  care  needs.   The
18    Advisory   Board  shall  be  composed  of  such  health  care
19    professionals as the Board of Trustees of the  University  of
20    Illinois  deems  necessary  and appropriate, who shall all be
21    appointed to the Advisory Board by the Board of Trustees.

23        Section 99.  Effective date.  This Act takes effect  upon
24    becoming law.
