1 AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 623
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend Senate Bill 623, by replacing
3 the title with the following:
4 "AN ACT regarding appropriations."; and by replacing
5 everything after the enacting clause with the following:
6 "Section 5. The following named amounts, or so much of
7 those amounts as may be necessary, respectively, are
8 appropriated to the Auditor General to meet the ordinary and
9 contingent expenses of the Office of the Auditor General, as
10 provided in the Illinois State Auditing Act:
11 For Personal Services:
12 For Regular Positions........................... $ 3,157,500
13 For Employee Contribution to Retirement
14 System by Employer............................ 126,300
15 For State Contribution to State Employees'
16 Retirement System............................. 303,100
17 For State Contribution to Social Security....... 241,600
18 For Contractual Services........................ 547,000
19 For Travel...................................... 85,000
20 For Commodities................................. 18,800
21 For Printing.................................... 16,700
22 For Equipment................................... 35,000

1 For Electronic Data Processing.................. 104,500
2 For Telecommunications.......................... 80,000
3 For Operation of Auto Equipment................. 5,200
4 Total $4,720,700
5 Section 10. The sum of $11,409,600, or so much of that
6 amount as may be necessary, is appropriated to the Auditor
7 General from the Audit Expense Fund for audits, studies, and
8 investigations.
9 Section 9999. Effective date. This Act takes effect
10 July 1, 1999.".
