 1        AN ACT making appropriations.

 2        Be  it  enacted  by  the People of the State of Illinois,
 3    represented in the General Assembly:

 4        Section 1.  The  following  named  amounts,  or  so  much
 5    thereof  as  may  be necessary, respectively, for the objects
 6    and purposes hereinafter named, are appropriated to meet  the
 7    ordinary  and  contingent  expenses  of  the  Law Enforcement
 8    Training Standards Board:

11      Conviction Surcharge Fund:

13    For Employee Retirement Contributions

20    For Contractual Services .......................      376,500
21    For Travel .....................................       35,200
22    For Commodities ................................       12,000
23    For Printing ...................................       15,000
24    For Equipment ..................................       39,000
25    For Electronic Data Processing .................      104,000
26    For Telecommunications Services ................       23,500
27    For Operation of Auto Equipment ................       13,000
28    For Expenses Related to the Audit of
29      Assessment Collection and Remittance To
30      and Expenditures From the Traffic and

 1    Payable from the Police Training Board Services Fund:
 2      For payment of and/or services
 3       related to law enforcement training
 4       in accordance with statutory provisions
 5       of the Law Enforcement Intern
 6       Training Act .................................. $  500,000

 7        Section 1a.  The  following  named  amount,  or  so  much
 8    thereof  as  may  be necessary, respectively, for the objects
 9    and purposes hereinafter named, is appropriated  to  the  Law
10    Enforcement Training Standards Board as follows:
11                            GRANTS-IN-AID
12    Payable from the Traffic and Criminal
13      Conviction Surcharge Fund:
14    For payment of and/or reimbursement
15      of training and training services
16      in accordance with statutory provisions ......$  10,000,000

17        Section  99.  Effective date.  This Act takes effect July
18    1, 1999.
