1 AN ACT to amend the Counties Code by changing Section
2 1-2002.
3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
4 represented in the General Assembly:
5 Section 5. The Counties Code is amended by changing
6 Section 1-2002.
7 (55 ILCS 5/1-2002) (from Ch. 34, par. 1-2002)
8 Sec. 1-2002. Notice of election. In addition to the
9 requirements of the general election law, notices of an such
10 election on a petition to transfer territory shall contain a
11 description of the territory proposed to be transferred, and
12 the names of the counties from and to which the such transfer
13 is intended to be made.
