1 AN ACT to amend the Child Care Act of 1969 by changing
2 Section 2.18.
3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
4 represented in the General Assembly:
5 Section 5. The Child Care Act of 1969 is amended by
6 changing Section 2.18 as follows:
7 (225 ILCS 10/2.18) (from Ch. 23, par. 2212.18)
8 Sec. 2.18. "Day care homes" means family homes that
9 which receive more than 3 up to a maximum of 12 children for
10 less than 24 hours per day. The number counted includes the
11 family's natural or adopted children and all other persons
12 under the age of 12. The term does not include facilities
13 which receive only children from a single household.
