91_SB0364 LRB9103602NTsb 1 AN ACT concerning the conveyance of real estate. 2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, 3 represented in the General Assembly: 4 Section 5. For and in consideration of the sum of $1, 5 the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois is 6 authorized to convey, by quitclaim deed executed by the 7 president of the Board of Trustees and attested by the 8 corresponding secretary of the Board of Trustees, to the 9 Hardin County Board of Commissioners all rights, title, and 10 interest of the University of Illinois in and to the 11 following described real estate: 12 Tract #2 13 Beginning at a point where the East line of the West-half (W 14 1/2) of the Southeast Quarter (SE 1/4) of Section Fourteen 15 (14), Township Twelve (12) South, Range Eight (8) East of the 16 Third Principal Median intersects the North right-of-way line 17 of Illinois State Highway No. 146 (being the Southeast corner 18 of a tract of land conveyed to the University of Illinois by 19 Warranty Deed recorded January 10, 1917 in Deed Book 12, at 20 pages 505-506), thence North a distance of Four Hundred 21 Thirty (430) feet to a point, thence East a distance of Three 22 Hundred Thirty (330) feet to a point, thence South a distance 23 of One Hundred Forty Five and Twenty One Hundredths (145.21) 24 feet to the North right-of-way line of said highway, thence 25 in a Southwesterly direction along said right-of-way line 26 Four Hundred Thirty Five and Ninety Hundredths (435.90) feet 27 to the point of beginning, being 2.18 acres more or less, 28 situated in HARDIN COUNTY, ILLINOIS. 29 Section 10. The corresponding secretary of the Board of 30 Trustees of the University of Illinois shall obtain a -2- LRB9103602NTsb 1 certified copy of this Act within 60 days after its effective 2 date, and, upon receipt of payment of the consideration of 3 $1, shall record the certified document in the Recorder's 4 Office of Hardin County, Illinois. 5 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon 6 becoming law.
