1 AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 321
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend Senate Bill 321 by replacing
3 everything after the enacting clause with the following:
4 "Section 5. The Illinois Health Facilities Planning Act
5 is amended by adding Section 4.5 as follows:
6 (20 ILCS 3960/4.5 new)
7 Sec. 4.5. Report. On or before January 1, 2000, the
8 State Board shall issue a report to the General Assembly on
9 the impact of State and federal antitrust laws on the
10 availability, cost, and quality of health care provided in
11 those regions of the State that are considered to be
12 medically underserved.
13 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon
14 becoming law.".
