1 AN ACT to amend the Civil Administrative Code of Illinois
2 by adding Section 47.4.
3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
4 represented in the General Assembly:
5 Section 5. The Civil Administrative Code of Illinois is
6 amended by adding Section 47.4 as follows:
7 (20 ILCS 605/47.4 new)
8 Sec. 47.4. Appropriations; Illinois Focused Industrial
9 Retention Support Team. Beginning in fiscal year 2000, there
10 is appropriated, on a continuing annual basis in each fiscal
11 year, from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of
12 Commerce and Community Affairs, the amount of $250,000, or so
13 much thereof as may be necessary, for grants to the Illinois
14 First Industrial Retention Program for its operations,
15 programs, and expenses and its expansion to additional areas
16 of Illinois.
17 The annual appropriation under this Section shall take
18 effect on July 1 for the State fiscal year beginning on that
19 date. This amendatory Act shall constitute continuing
20 appropriation of the amounts specified in this Section and
21 continuing authority for and direction to the State Treasurer
22 and State Comptroller to make the necessary transfers to
23 carry out this Section.
24 Section 99. This Act takes effect on July 1, 1999.
